I plan on putting white pick-ups back in where they were taken out. Haven't decided what to put in yet though. I'm also going to put in a treble bleed, so it still sounds cool when I roll back the volume.

Cool. What's the graphic? I can't quite make it out... is that an angel?

It's the Angels Depart graphic, from the 1992 catalogue. That guitar is actually the one they took a photo of for the catalogue that year. I got it from the original owner.

It's a sweet playing guitar. I had to do some set-up on it, because coming to Alaska wreaks havoc on guitars...but I didn't have to do a lot. Lowered the bridge a little, and a small tweak on the truss rod was all it needed. The fret board was so clean I couldn't get any grime or dirt off of it, it just needed a little oil and it was good to go.

Bridge looks like your standard Seymour Duncan Humbucker (cant tell).

Middle could be ANYTHING - might be something from Dimarizio.

Neck could be a PAF Pro.

Im not a pickup expert but I was just guessing.

I assume the neck is still the original pick-up. If it is then it's a PAF Pro. I'm not sure what the bridge pick-up is, and I probably won't find out until I decide to replace it with most likely a Tone Zone. What's a good single coil for the middle in that configuration?

Thanks a lot guys! I thought this thread was dead.

I've been playing the hell out of that guitar. Can't wait to swap out the bridge and middle pups to make it look original. I'm still floundering on what to put in there. I want something that will be sensitive to pick attack, with good presence and well rounded in the EQ. I'm still thinking either a Tone Zone or Fred. Any suggestions?

I was browsing the dimarzio website, and noticed the Steve's Special
pick-up. My amp is pretty heavy with the mid range, so that one might be a good choice. Anyone have experience with that pick-up?
