Post making guitar vids
I got some ideas for some vids i wanna post, i need some software(free preferably) to record with. i got a shitty webcam that will do but theres something wrong with my mic and its getting this crappy fuzzy static that i cant do anything about, you guys got any ideas.i also need somebody to host em for me so i can post em here

Can't you use the mic of your webcam instead of a seperate mic? ,..what webcam do you have?,..

Ive got one of those cheapo logitech ones that looks like a cueball

I have the same I think ,.. try to reinstall the software that came with the webcam or downloud the latest updates,. The software is very basic but good enough unless you want to make a Spielberg vid.....if you wanna make them smaller (file size ) there is this program Real Producer Plus,.
For webspace first try this link http://www.geocities.com/myql2000/samples2.htm if you can watch the vid I'll tell you how i've done it,..

.. the webspace I used was from yahoo Geocities,all for free but the only thing is when there is to much data traffic it's temporary unavailable,..

I tried watching the video, but for some reason, I can hear the playing, which is awesome btw. but I can't see the video. do I need some other codec or something? I've got that nimo codec pack still installed on my computer.

No idea dude,. but perhaps it is Windows XP ,. a friend of mine told me that she also had the same problem but she has Windows XP but btw thanx for listening :wink:

Works fine for me.. I've been using XP since early beta. It has strengths and weaknesses but it's been a pretty solid OS. Clearly superior to any of the 9x OSes.
