Peavey probablly came to his door with a truck-load of money.

That's pretty cool, but personally I wouldn't wanna be playing an AMP with Satch's initials right on there. No offense to Satch or anything.

Peavey's been fiscally down for 3 years now, to the point where they chopped a TON of endorsements...so I seriously doubt it.

Satch was using Triple XXX when i saw him in Boston. Killer tone.....Better than ever, and better than the other guitarist that night.

I have a Triple XXX and it sounds great. If you can't get it to sound good i think the player has something wrong with the hands........

Hell no. They have a single digit market share right now.

I got away from that stuff. I still play my Wolfgangs cause that is all I got. Whenever I can, I am going to get something better.

I sware, if I eer buy another new amp that has high gain, it WILL be a Soldano SLO-100!!!!!!!!!!!! My reasoning is that my friend has one and I play on it all the time.

For regular classic rock (AC/DC, Deep Purple, early Van Halen, anything late 60s through early 80s) I play my Mojave Peacemaker. This thing is the best amp for classic rock and even early 80s hair metal like RATT, Def Leppard. I couldn't be happier with it!

Satch must really be getting board to go with a low end amp head! A musician of his type could have something custom built by Marshall or whoever.

Almost there man! 8) I have never been happier with any amp other than my Peacemaker!!!! Great old school tones. That is half of what I was looking for! The 5150s, Laney, and XXX did absolutly nothing for me.

As far as high gain stuff, the best one that I have played on is the SLO-100. The reason why I like this one for the high gain stuff is because it sounds a lot like a hotrodded old Marshall. Of course, I have an old Marshall and all I might really need is that Soldano Supercharger GTO pedal.

I have never really ever played though high end gear until I got the Peacemaker. All I ever wanted was the best of old school and the best of new school.

Just remember, sometimes it takes longer for people to find that tone. Within the past year I have really become more comfortable playing. The reason for being confused with what I wanted was that I was limited as a guitar player. The more tone that I get from my fingures, the more I will really know what will compliment my playing.
