Aww yeeeah.
The audio quality seems a bit off on that, do you have a higher quality version for when you put everyone's solos over it? (If not I could redo it)

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
I'll try to record something tonight. Although I'll have an image of Brian rippin' through this backing track the whole time, while I lay down my lame average solo...

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
Pretty conscious about my playing... I've listened to some of the previous forum jams and holy crap. Be nice! http://soundcloud.com/meticadpa/test-run(Was my second time playing through with it. I'll probably just stick to something similar to that 'cause I've gotta head out for a bit tonight and won't have a chance to record anything else for a few days.) yay/nay? Edit: I can record better quality and stuff than that, it's just there to show an example and obviously it's not how Pao wants it yet.

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
I like this licks. If you are willing to take suggestions, I'd say pay more attention to the rythm of the backing track and play strong notes on the right tempos. As you're playing fast runs all the time, by the middle of the solo I felt like it was a little bit off tempo, specially when you switch from one technique to another. So, I'd say: before you do the legato run, for instance, play a mean bend, do some vibrato, and then go through another fast run. Steve Morse is a master at doing that, and he says the slower phrases help the fast stuff get more interesting.

I'm considering removing the middle fast run into something else... just as fast but probably easier to keep a hold of rhythmically.

You all play 2-3x faster than I do but I'll try to come up with something that hopefully sounds somewhat interesting tonight.

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
Well, I forgot to save the recording file on my PC, so I'll have to record it all over again. Any criticism would be apreciated for the next 6 hours..

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
Here's mine again: http://soundcloud.com/matheus_santos/ra ... jam-10-sirI changed it a little bit, and even attempted to harmonize a small section... too bad my guitar only has 24 frets, and I couldn't do the whole lick! Now I have one with just the solo for Pao: http://soundcloud.com/matheus_santos/ra ... -sir-robinPao, do you need us to upload it somewhere else or can you download it from Soundcloud?

 Re: ~ RX Forum Jam 10 ~
Yeah I need it on sendspace for both!
For others, you can upload your solo with backing elsewhere, but please upload it somewhere I can download too. I use it as reference when I'm sync-ing backing tracks. It's a tough job, you see.
