[question] Fender am. std. Strato - vs Ibanez STM2
Hey to everybody, my local guitar shop has a Fender Am. Std. Strat and an Ibanez STM2 for sale for really discount-prices .. which one should I take? I love the STM2 for the body form, but the rest (EDGE 3 trem!!! ) is not so good isn't it?! thanx for a kind help! Dino

Hrmm...I guess it depends on what other guitars you have?
If you already have one or two "metal/shred" type guitars, I'd go for the classier Strat

actually I already have an IBANEZ 2610e prestige guitar.. maybe You're right about the strat!

Strat definitely. Anything with a crappy trem should be burned. I really wish Ibanez just stayed with fixed bridges. Maybe keep the higher models to have Edge pros only if chosen as a good option

maybe You're right guys.. it wouldn't make sense to get a guitar where I'd have to swap the tremolo right away. I also had a look at the RG1550 but.. I already have an Ibanez Prestige. And maybe, that American Strato will unleash finally some .. Yngwie in me
