Thanks dude :D !!!

Bosch uses a peavey 5150 combo i'll ask him what settings he has

i use a v - amp 2 ( 160 $ amp modeler :P )

settings :

amp : savage beast
mid : 1 o clock
treble: 2 o clock
bass: 4 o clock
presence 1 o clock
drive : 1
cab: 15
reverb : 2 1 o clock
noise gate : 1

and a bit of delay :)

some of the effects : ambient reverb, duck flanger and stuff were added with cakewalk pro 9

Cool thanx man !

But i got a question to this V-amp 2.

Can you explain me how this thing works. CAn you put it dircetly with a cable in your line in of the soundcard and start recording ?

And if you use it like a kind of multieffectpedal on the bottom and you use these settings from above, does it matter which settings the amp uses ? Or don't you have to care about that because your V-Amp 2 already got the right settings ?

I hope you can understand what i am talking about

i plug my v -amp directly into my soundcard, and record in cakewalk or cooledit

hmm if you only use the v-amp and tweak the settings yourself you will be able to get a very cool sound no problem with that

but if you put another effect under it ( i hope this is what you ment :P )
like a bos distortion pedal or something it will sound crap

a wah or volume pedal will do great i use my crybaby wah wah with my v-amp and it works perfectly

Ok thanx :)

But can you use your V-amp 2 live as a kind of effectpedal ?
Or is it only good for recording at home on the computer?

Hmm... i'm asking to much questions *lol*

well a friend of mine uses his v-amp 2 live and it sounds very good

just put the v-amp in the fx loop en set the v-amp on L2

L2 --> cab simulation turned off

i have to admit i hate using the v-amp 2 live :? but my friend is getting a stunning tone out of it i don't know how he does it :D

if you want to buy a v-amp and you are going to use it live and for home recording you can better buy the v-amp PRO a little bit more expensive but more options 8)

sorry for the bad english :P

Awesome

Let me tell you what ir reminds me:
0.00-0.23 - Satriani
0.24-0.41 - IA Ekklundh
0.42-end - Many guys. Some parts are Vai driven, other more "Racer X", other reminds me of the "Kotzen-Howe" Project

Cool song

This mp3 is kickass.

Hey, about the v-amp2. I've been thinking about buying one for a while. I almost did until a friend of mine told me that you've got to have a pretty good computer to get good tone out of the v-amp. Mine doesn't exactly qualify as a great computer. What're the specs of the computer you recorded with ? The tone sounds great.
