Saw it! Great job and awesome BT (even got the keyboard solo on!). Volume was a little weak but maybe it's cause I don't have earphones on (just the laptop speakers). What lens are you using? It almost seems a little out of focus. Did you get prime lens or is the camera just far and zoomed in? Maybe get a little more light and put the aperture to 4 and up to get more detail. The flames weren't screaming out!

The blurred look was deliberate - I like that look a lot - I thought it drew the eyes to the part in focus and looked artsy.

It was shot at 10PM here - so it's only lit by my overhead lights - nothing natural - it could do with a little more popping though - I agree

this was the lens we used

no zoom at all

Yeah I get what you were trying to do that's a bokkeh effect. Those are prime lens (50mm flat) which was why I wanted to know if it was deliberate or not. Prime lens are great for low light cause you can get a lower aperture (this one goes to 1.4) but your depth of field is really "thin" so unless you're in that specific "line" everything else is blurred. This is normally great but that would mean if your knee is in focus, everything past that isn't. Maybe get the aperture up to like 1.8 or 2, that's good enough to keep "you" in focus :D

cheers man - I'll see if we can use one of our other lenses on the next one - still lots of room for improvement!

I don't know if I commented on it to you, but the Camera quality is very good. You should use it more for sure!

That's the beauty of modes...
Changing the feeling of a song with just a few subtle changes.
This was a good example of that.
Nice shuffle!

I couldnt have put it better myself Rich

guitarist spend their like asking what the "right" mode is for a given chord but usually miss the whole point!

Kind of like a painter asking YOU what color they should paint the car on their own canvas.

"Hey, it's your painting. Use whatever color you want."

Modes have always fascinated me, and they are an essential tool to draw the listener in to what you are trying to say with notes. There are at least several to choose from with each 'root note'.
I always kind of had an idea of what they were when I was younger, but the more I discovered, the more I wanted to learn!

:D
