Post Need Small Gigging Amp
I've been playing a lot of shows in NYC but since I'm in NJ, it is such a pain in the ass to lug around my cab and head. Since I only use a clean channel during our shows for electric/acoustic-electric stuff with effects pedals, I only need a little amp with a good clean channel (with comfortable headroom). I'm not playing at very big places at all, they are quite small and doesn't need to be very powerful. I won't be playing over the screaming and singing of thousands of fans ;). I feel like these aren't too hard to find, but does anyone have any suggestions? Don't worry about budget, just give me some of your favorite suggestions. It needs to be light, small, and practical. Thanks!

Clean, small gigging amp?

The standard answer would be a Fender 2x12 combo.

They have the cheaper Frontman line (~$300)
The Hot Rod (~$900)
Deluxe Reverb (~$1000)

or

Peavey Classic 50 or 30 ~($850)

Personally I love the Hot Rod Deville and the Peavey. Check out some demos or go play 'em at the store.
