 problems sweeping at night, and durring the day

Post problems sweeping at night, and durring the day
hello everyone. i know practing will help me with this, but i thought maybe someone might have helpful advice.

when i sweep, and barr 2-3notes at the 12th fret with one finger i keep getting harmonics when i roll the finger up. is there anything else i should be doing?

Yeah, practice it slow so that each fretted note is articulated clearly and then muted on release/roll to the next string.

roll the right wrist as you sweep. watch videos of PG or yngwie.

I mute with my right thumb (a la George Bellas/Tom Hess). Works REALLY well on 2 and 3-string sweeps.

I saw a link on guitar.com of a lesson on the thumb thing (Tom Hess) but it was broken.. do you know of any sites?
