Post king of monsters tab
Hi!

Has anyone got any suggestions or know in what position the pentatonic bits are played with the intro riff?
I have the tab book which shows something like (from memory)

-----------------5---------------
-------------------8-5-----------
---7-5-----------------7-5------
--------7-5-3----------------7-5-
-5-------------5----------------

which is fine .. although going from 5 on low e to 5 on high e string is bizarre and it is indicated as being all picked, whereas on the cd (and moreso on the live one) it stands out as being smoother in transitions with some leading pull offs followed by picked notes (i was playing with the idea of open strings on the first 7 notes there and then going into the next pentatonic box position) ....

i know this might sound like a tedious question but i do aim for the idea of getting things how they are originally played

That´s the way it is dude!
I´ve transcribed it and it sounds perfect.
Just practice, I´ve managed to control it after a couple of days

Play it in the open position.......Open "A" and the rest on the second and third frets of the "D" and "A" strings.
