Post Question about Multifx pedals.
So recently my amp broke down :(
And my setup has always been
Guitar -> Line 6 Pod X3 Live -> Cheap Ibanez Amp.
While im saving up for a new amplifier as of right now my setup is
Guitar -> Line 6 Pod X3 Live -> Computer speakers through the live output for the Pedal.

However doing that pans it to either my Left or Right Computer speaker so I tried using the Headphones output instead.
And I realized that I had a lot more bass in my tone than before so Im wondering is it the headphones output that gives it more bass? Or is it because Im using computer speakers?

Different outputs have different properties, really. You'd find the same with different amps, too.

Zae is totally right. Different models get different sound. Most times quality speakers or headphones give you a better sound. I think that if you wanna know how´s your sound you could record some of your guitar and compare how it sounds on different players which you´re used to. This way you can get an idea of how your equipement sounds.
I hope I had explained what I mean :)

you're best of using the X3 into a recording interface and then outputing that to the speakers.
it is a pain to have to do all that when you want to play, but it should take care of it.

there's most likely a Direct Out jack on the X3...try using that.

I use the Line out on my ME-50, and I can output directly to my speakers or tot he line in on my PC and then make that play through the audio out. It's what I gotta do with no amp for the moment :)
