Hey, I'm gonna be selling my RG550 in order to fund the purchase of a Tele (probably a 72 deluxe). Thought I'd ask if there's any interest here, before I go to either ebay, or seeing if any of the guitar shops on Denmark Street will take it :P

Pics will follow, if there's any interest.

Yeah originally I wanted a yellow one, but couldn't find one for ages so gave up and went black. Still a nice playing guitar, just doesn't suit me.

Just eBay it! :P
There are more serious buyers there.
I got my 1990 RG550CA for $600

From what I have seen it's not easy selling your stuff here...

plus the 10% (i believe) winning bid fee

plus 2% paypal fees

youl need to sell it for almost 15% more than you want for it than if you were selling privately

It depends on how you do it, there is ways of selling cheaper on eBay, like using just the stock photo and then pasting loads into the message box, using html to link to photobucket images, instead of paying extra for every photo you upload

If you have a 99p start price and no reserve, i think its free to list, and you just pay a percentage of the sale price back to eBay at the end of the month
