Post classical gas
As an electric player i have never attempted finger picking much, but recently i have really taken up classical and finger picking.I am currently learning classical gas, and have learnt stuff like dee by Randy. This stuff used to fear me, and although i am no great shredder i really love playting this stuff, but it is hard, wondered what experience the rest of you have had with finger picking, classical side of things.I think the chord work really helps you understand the guitar better, and there is nowhere to hide(ie behind distortion), classical gas is an awesome song and sounds awesome, but it is not for the faint hearted!!
