it is an advert so you expect a bit of exaggeration.
But he was at NAMM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLfOfyDJEkU

the tone in that video sounds alot nicer than what ive heard from him before.

It's an old advertising trick. It's an opinion that's vague and relative. See they say he was a "namm show favorite", but they don't mention by "who". His mom? His friends? His family? The three guys who happened to walk by and hear him for the first time? So "technically" it's not a lie.

Ouch!

This kid has a ton of potential if he develops his own sound. He clearly has the technical part down, but if he doesn't have his own sound he'll just end up like one of those copycat players that passes with the fad.

I am quite proficient, yes. I'd love nothing more than to post a video on youtube for you guys to attempt to rip to shreds but unfortunately not all of us can afford the latest technological dodads. In any case I won't be crying myself to sleep wondering whether or not the Racer X board thinks I can play or not.

Nah, my technique as diminished a bit since GIT. Instead of shred ive been learning music so technique took a back seat. I need to wood shed like hell all week to not be a fool next to anton.

his gonna play all his classicl stuff then every so often the band will come up and we'll play some songs.

Were doing a few RX tunes 2 extreme tunes (though im not playing one of em) and 2 of antons originals among some other things.

Im playing the harmony parts for most of the RX tunes, and alot of the parts are actually harder then antons :x
scarified ending harnmony....sucks

Antons by no means an established player, his still green and has alot too learn. But by god he has a great headstart.
