For Sale: Ibanez Destroyer in black (just like Paul's!)
As you can guess from the title, I'm now looking to sell my trusty Destroyer (pitured below)
I'm sad to say the Wolfgang was the first casualty and now, make me an offer!
I am just seeing if anyone on here would like to buy it before it goes onto eBay as I would rather it went to a Paul fan who would shred it like it deserves!
I don't have a price in mind just yet so feel free to make me a (reasonable!) offer.
There is a ding on the top rear horn which I will take pictures of tonight when I get home from work.
Comes with a hardshell case which I will also photograph.
No idea about postage at the moment but will look into it. eBay seems to have between £20 and £35 as the going rate. Obviously if you're in the London area, you can just collect it and save the money!
The only reason I'm having a clear out is that money is a bit tight (as it is for most people!) and I can't really justify having a mountain of guitars that I never play. Some effects may be on offer soon including my A/DA flanger...
Anyways, that's enough from me. I will post a few more pics tonight or tomorrow.
Any questions, reply here or send me a PM.
Thanks for looking!
oh and just to remind you how cool you could look if you bought it (and some leathers)...

Sorry to hear that, Dave! But I understand what you said about the unplayed guitars just lying around.
See what I did there? I said "I understand", not "I know how you feel"

Any shipping overseas? Still in EU.
But I have no idea what such a guitar is worth, so I wouldn't know what to bid. Especially when I don't know what model & year to compare it with. :p

They are worth about $350 USD or a little less.
They're not an expensive guitar, just a cool one!

Aww man.. I think my red one might be going soon.. mine has a couple dings on it and is a little worn. But it's signed by PG
Good luck dude.. they're freakin' awesome guitars and my black one is currently my main guitar. I just need gold pickup covers!!

Wow. That's a really nice price.
I would be happy to pay $350 for that, if shipping to DK is a possibility.

Honestly I think 350 would be a little too low for Dave's his seems to be in great condition besides the lower horn chip. I think like a player's DT420 would be 350. I payed 450 + shipping for my black one and 400 (with free shipping) for my red one.
The chip is pretty big but as long as everything else is clean I think like 400 would be a more accurate price.
Edit: I actually payed 500 for my black one.. and it was MINT! I've dinged it up a little bit now. But it's still super sexy. Plus I got some perfect nail polish from my girlfriend and it matches the finish exactly, so my dings and stuff aren't noticeable at all.

Yeah... like I said, *about* $350 USD... it's a market thing. Everything was more expensive back before The Great Deflation. I got my pricing estimates from the list $$ on a new DT, and seeing people selling (vs. holding) used Destroyers on Jemsite and eBay.
I really hope I didn't come across as cheap because it was just the first number that I remember popping in to my head for an accurate valuation.
I used to think they were $900... hehe. It wasn't my intent to start "too low".
$400 is good, $475 shipped within the EU is even better.
What's great about *most* guitars is that they, with proper care, should outlast their owners! So it's a good bargain ;)

I agree as far as 475 shipped being a good price. But I think earlier it would've been more accurate to say they're worth around $350 or more.

I`d seriously buy it if I wasn`t saving all my money to buy some pedals when I go to the US later this year...
