Post New member with funky guitars... ^_^
Well, since I'm new here, I figured I'd post some pics of my guitars.. lol They aren't all that strange, but most of my friends play all black, or flame top stuff.. :D

So, here they are:
1988 RG750 Violet Pearl, though it's faded a lot(Breeds)
Image
1997 RG570 Metalflake Blue(PAFPro, stock single, Norton)
Image
1998 RG7-620 Royal Blue(AirNorton7, Evo7)
Image

So, opinions? Heard about the stick on F-holes on this board, I think my 570 might look cool with them..

Probably buying a GH50L and matching cab the end of the month, which is why I stopped by here in the first place.. Glad to know I'm not delusional thinking they sound wicked..

Your guitars look good , I guess they are Ibanez in majority.
Yes the people here seems to love painted F-Holes on there guitars (me too) .

au revoir , sayonara , good bye, hasta luego , dasswidannia , Auf wiedersehen , Ciao , Tschüss !!
(I guess I could say Good bye in more languages , Paul can do )

That was my first reaction, but after seeing the reflection, I think that is linolium (sp?). Cool RGs!

Yeah, its not real bricks. Its linolium floor with brick designs.

But still, carpet is a more generous area to lay it over.

I like those guitars. To be honest, they just look normal to me. Nothing special. I like the metallic blue finish on the 1997 RG though, it looks jazzy with the pure white pickups. Reminds me of an old Danelectro guitar.

Hh, I guess they aren't that strange to you guys.. :) Like I said before, almost eveyone I know has black on black guitars, or flame top stuff, so sparkles, swirls, and stuff seem funky.. ;)

Yeah, that's my kitchen floor, linoleum or whatever, heh.. Real brick would be horrible, I'd sooner jump in front of traffic than put my guitars on that.. 8) It's the brightest room in the house, so it seemed ideal at the time.. Would've gone out side and gotten natural-light pics, but this is florida, and I don't go outside with a guitar that's not in a case with de-humidifiers..

Thanks for the complements guys.. Aside from maybe getting the stick on F-Holes for the 570, was thinking about some giant car-decal-like Kanji for the RG7, something not too nice, since it's my 'death metal' guitar.

How bout an ass? I mean, a straight up ass. Like, a decal of someone flashing their moon. Thats pretty mean and insulting.

You might sway the decision of the homosexuals in the audience, too. And Darr :)

you are not going to be able to put f-holes on the 570 buddy. :( your 570 has too many knobs and they are not positioned correctly. :( paul gilbert's f-holes have the selector switch in the middle and the volume knob at the back of the bottom f-hole so that they blend in quite nicely.

a giant butt... lol I was thinking more along the lines of a not so nice phrase, translated over into Japanese then made into a decal.. :D

As for the F-Holes not matching up perfect.. I can live with it.. :) Used to the switch where it is, sorta uncomfortable shifted like on PGMs..

What I have thought about having done is a dot replacement.. I think some blue mirror or sparkle dots would rock..
