just scored a Digitech Hardwire RV-7 reverb for my birthday, amazing tone for a digital reverb, the spring setting more than satisfies my recent obsession in Dick Dale, and i'm still finding great settings every minute!

Post Re: Sean Pierce's All-Purpose Pedal Thread
So I had a session the other day for an indie movie my old High School drama teacher/faculty advisor has been working on.
The movie is really cool and has a really awesome story to it, by the way.

Well the focal point of the movie is a rare 45rpm record with a song on it. I basically had to help them write this song and will be recording two versions of it for the movie.
It was about three hours of work and went very well.

The director, my teacher's friend, said he really wanted to hear a talk box on the track so he bought a talk box.

At the end of the session he gave it to me and told me to learn how to use it and that it was mine to keep...

I was paid for a session with a brand-spankin'-new Rocktron Banshee Talk Box!!!

I haven't hooked it up yet but I'm sure stoked to have one...especially since I didn't pay for it.

That's so awesome!
I picked a Banshee up cheap about a year ago and am yet to use it live or in the studio.
It was awesome initially playing Bon Jovi / Frampton etc but I haven't managed to write anything using it...

I also got a Fulltone MDV2 about 6 months ago but can't really find any use for it in the music I'm playing so may have to let that go... :/

Just bought a DOD FX25B Envelope Filter. Pretty cheap, but it sounds great. Loads of fun. :D

I've got one of those, one of my all time favorite cheapo pedals. The buffer doesn't sound too great, but meh.

Guys, I need some info on the Behringer and the Boss EQ, and the MXR Carbon Copy delay.. what do you think about those pedals?

I can say I tested the Carbon Copy for about 15 minutes, and it's great.

It sounds really REALLY good. The delay is crystal clear.

The only thing I thought I would be able to do with it was that Paul Gilbert play-the-lick-and-stomp-in-the-pedal thing. When you do that on the Carbon Copy (or at least this happened to me), instead of having the lick repeating itself, I got the lick repeating itself at an incredible high pitched tone and speed. Well, it's kindda cool too! :D

Been thinking about selling my BB Preamp as well, so I can afford a Suhr Riot. Only tried one briefly, but I need one of those.

Get one.

Levi how would you a/b the Riot/Shiba. I have had the Riot for a few months now and it is beautiful. Are they both completely different animals? Does one do what the other can't and vice versa?

Just curious. :)

Both of them live on my gigging board

love the shiba, its my fusion tone pedal. Its not as full out as the riot, but its voiced so well, just carries the tone of the guitar along and gives it some meat

Strange pedal related event...
At a gig last night a woman came over and started taking pictures of my pedalboard.
I wasn't sure if she as planning on stealing them later on as it was before I had played a note. Unless she had heard that I had awesome tone at soundcheck... :/
Anyways, it was quite weird. My main hope is that she is a Fulltone or HBE rep' and wants to talk about a signature pedal! :P

Are those yours?? What the heck are those??

My most recent acquisitions are the Line 6 DL4 and MM4. I scored a deal on both and I'm having quite a bit of fun!
