Mattias Eklundh Time.
The thing that amazes me about this vid, is his rig is just the Caparison guitar-> AMT Fatal Tube Distortion Pedal -> Gorilla amp.
I was so impressed by the clip that I bought one of the pedals, LOL. Its alright. On some amps, it sucks. On others, it can sound pretty cool.
He's one of my favorites.
Another Bob Zabek. . .improvized 'shred blues'
Shred blues is usually horrible, but this dude has monster fucking chops in spades...check it out

Mattias Eklundh is cool.
I like the way all the comments below his Vid say "oh, the guitar is built to sound like that" as if thats the reason they cant do it......haha.
Actually the Guitar looked almost as shit as the Amp so i would say its all pure talent

Ah, and how did you like the Caparison?
I may be getting one for my graduation gift.

Totally awsome. Even though Mattias mysteriously played it better than me...
It's a shame that they are so hard to gey a hold of. Here in Sweden we have a place that sells caparisons called "Jam". But they are expensive as hell, like all guitars here in Sweden.

Mr. Big - Shyboy (David lee Roth cover)
I actually prefer the original and Steve Vai's cover of it but it's still cool to see Paul play it.
What's that guitar he's using? Looks like one of those Epiphones he used in Racer X.

Shy Boy is actually a Talas song (Which was Billy's band before he joined DLR). It was covered by David Lee Roth when Billy Sheehan joined up with him.

Interesting tuning. Don't know what it is, but its not standard. I love this whole video though. Definitely got my ears perked up.
