Post Guitar Wiring Question
Ok now I may be opening up a HUGE can of worms by asking this but I am new to the guitar world and have many questions.

I hear some people saying they did a "hot rod" wiring job on their guitars. What can you really do to change it? I got a wiring diagram of my guitar and I was trying to see how you could change things. But to me it looks to basic. IE this cord can only go here and so on and so forth. Does the "hot rodding" hove to do with how it switches? Is it a pot thing?

You could do coil taps. parellel-in phase-out of phase-sustainer. All kinds of shit.

I am familiar with phase from stereo setups. You can make your guitar out of phase? What is a coil tap?
