You are the BOMB, Sandman!

It's like you got 'game', or something.

If there were, I never saw them. This was back when most of us were still using dial-up.

Bump!
Thank you, Sandman.
The first song on the page, labelled "PG Tortures a Hollowbody" is the instrumental song "Revelation" from Robben Ford's album "Talk To Your Daughter", if anyone is interested.
I was using the "search button" trying to find some clue about this blues solo - still don't know where it comes from, but it's a good one!

Cool stuff.

I actually already have most, if not all of these without even realising. I just didn't know where they came from.

"this blues solo" is an improvised solo that he did for Guitar Techniques mag in August 2000.

Thank for the information, MDuCran.
I confused the Robben Ford song, it's not "Revelation", it's "Help The Poor".

Thanks a lot for the uploads, i've only heard some of these before and the rest are great, i love paul's humor and "I'm just in love", although i can't understand it, the description makes listening to the song all the more hilarious.

I'm positive.

It was the 2nd part of a PG masterclass with the magazine in July/Aug 2000. This particular column was named "Return Of The Son Of The Son Of Screaming Blues-o-Mania (Slight Return) PAUL GILBERT MASTERCLASS PART 2".

There were two masterclasses from that recording session, one blues, one metal. Printed in consecutive issues. The metal one features his "C# harmonic minor string-skipping lick" from the TGT video (in a different key!).

I collect the magazine, and can confirm what MDuCran says.

Go here for an index of stuff covered, including all the PG-related features.

^Also true. :D

I have both editions scanned, mp3s with Paul's solo and mp3's of both backing tracks.
