Post PG aus clinics?
jeez I haven't posted round here in ages!
Seems PG will be down under around October for a clinic tour. Didn't see anything posted on his site about it, thought I would give a heads up.
Sorry if its not new news.

I work at a venue, we were queried about booking the venue for a Paul Gilbert clinic in Oct. I'm really pushing for them to book us. I will for sure be in charge that night if we get him 8)

Yeah, Thump Music (Australian distributor) have organised a bunch of master classes with Paul Gilbert in October.

Unfortunately for me they don't look to be bringing it to Canberra, so I'll miss out. :(

Dude, its a chance to learn from Paul. I have flown to see the man across oceans.
Surely you can hop on a kangaroo and hop on over to Canberra!

Yeah I'll have to see. Very broke at the moment, so not so feasible. October may be a very expensive busy month for me too, so a bit hard to do. :(

Try putting ten bucks in savings or so every week or paycheck for gas?

Unfortunately right now I'm also looking at having to sell off some of my gear to help with bills and stuff that have hit us. Can't really save for things that aren't necessities when you have a wife and two young kids to care for. Who knows I might get lucky with the money later in the year.

Paul booked our venue! 8)

He is going to have a band apparently. Does Paul normally do a clinic with a band?

If I´m not wrong once Paul said that in clinics he prefers playing with a band than using backing tracks like he used to do. The question could be Will he play with his band or will he play with local musicians? :)

Booked my ticket for the Hobart clinic a couple of days ago! Never ever thought Paul would make it down to my end of the world or that I would get to see him! Going to be so special! I love the fact that he is using a local drummer and bass player too!

Looks like I probably will be in Sydney. I will be in charge of the venue when Paul comes. All access, sweet.
