As usual Paul, you da man! I'm sure at every bend you are making your rock face! Cheers for sharing your music brain as always!

The second lesson is here:

Fully agree with Paul's one-of-the-most-glorious-air-guitar-moments comment regards the Def Lepp example.

I would post a microwave riff but my pull-offs are immoral.

Definitely! I like the logic behind it. And plus it makes it really interesting.

I thought The September lesson looked kinda familiar:-)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qm8dAq9tYII

Somewhere in the middle I believe!

I guess it also shows that he is written and Recording these lessons on the go!
Because the lesson is a more " Worked out" version.

Those arpeggios are so basic (as far Paul's string skipping goes) but somehow they're so enjoyable to play :D

Right, the October lesson is posted here:

The food and eating theme continues. If the first couple of paragraphs aren't part of the PG humour, then someone pass me a bucket!

Post Re: Shred Your Enthusiasm
Actually, this column was pretty heavily edited. I went a lot further into the details of live-squid-eating. When the column came up on the internet, I was a bit shocked at how much text had been taken out, but I guess that's the risk I take for going off on this sort of tangent. By the way, the title was also changed by my editor. My original title was, "If It's Good Enough for a Blue Shark, It's Good Enough for Me."

Speaking of edited titles. I have to tell you guys my other title (that didn't make the cut) for the "Super Hendrix Scale" column. It was...

"E7#9b13 My Dad Says"

I thought that was really @#$#% funny!

Oh well. Most of what I write makes it through the taste filter. They let me write about Ted Nugent potentially strangling a wild turkey with his bare hands, so I've got to give them some respect.

Rock and Roll!

Paul

I didn't actually think they cut out that much :o

Although, to be fair, I read it in Paul's voice so it just sounds like Paul giving a tasteful anecdote that symbolises music theory...

I'm glad these columns keep coming, they give me food for thought!

Oh, man! That's a shame!

But on the other hand...
