Post PG: Eddie Trunk Show appearance (radio)
I retired & stopped Paul-tracking on Feb. 7 and this just fell in to my lap today while I was reading tweets.

From Eddie Trunk (@EddieTrunk) on Twitter:

"Final day of shooting today as we wrap up Season 7 of TMS and leave LA Tuesday. Been great so far and today should be fun."
"At the studio hearing Paul Gilbert warm up. Holy Shit!!"
Which caused me to question if he'd be on the show... apparently this is a YES
"Gilbert, Sorum, Cherie Currie, and surprise guest Joey Belladonna all ready to tape show 1 today! New shows start March 19 and every Sat."

*very happy*
Many of us recommended Paul to Eddie and he listened! :)

I don't get / subscribe to Sirius/XM radio and I don't know which Saturday that Paul will be on. I don't know if he'll be on one of the syndicated podcasts or the radio show even. (Saturdays are the syndicated podcasts, which is GOOD - everyone on the web *can* tune in to those.) Maybe one of you gurus does know, or can find out, and can update this thread with the date & time... please, if you find out anything, add it here. :)

Just figured I'd put this up asap so we can all anticipate!

Apparently it's for That Metal Show, and Paul spent like 9 hours at some studio warming up & playing guitar.

Here's a picture:
"Rock guitar god Paul Gilbert backstage at TMS."

This is all mentioned because he's NOT in the PR, but the PR came out on March 2, so it's a later happy development.

Update #2:

It's in .... MAY. *hits the snooze button, goes back to sleep* ... pid/401816

"5/7: Carmine Appice, Dave Meniketti. Guest players in the shows are Billy Sheehan, Gilby Clarke, Doug Aldrich & Paul Gilbert."

OK folks, set your TiVO, VCR, sundial, or whatever for May 7! :)
