They've just been announced for Download festival in England - and fairly sure they'll be playing Hellfest in France too - both in June.

Yeah I've seen the Hellfest rumours. It's the weekend after Download so time for a few non-festival gigs inbetween...

Aye, one after another on the same stage too. (won't get my hopes up too much :P )
Bit underwhelmed by the line up in comparison to the last couple of years but there are still a whole bunch of bands I'll definitely be seeing.

General FYI... no rumors...
There's some sort of 2-day fest in Columbia, Maryland that features like... every band I hated in the late 80's to mid 90's. (OK, I can think of a few that aren't represented, and there are a couple on there that I didn't hate...) May 13-14, 2011. It is a very closely themed, well-organized lineup. The peeps at 'MelodicRock' or 'MetalSludge' would LOVE this. Be on the lookout, if you like "cock rock"!

LOL. Not going.

OK, a little more info. It could be inaccurate or incorrect because it's from GoogleTranslate, but I'll give it a shot anyway.
The studio was decorated like a living room.
These tunes were apparently "electrified" --
13. Nobody Left To Blame (w/ Taiko Drums)
14. Shy Boy (w/ Taiko Drums)
and the songs 'with strings' were apparently accompanied by a classical strings section. (!!)

Here are a couple of pictures. A lady / bass player named Rio Ueda took them. She was invited to the recording session.

With Pablo --

Here's her blog entry about this, in Japanese, of course.

@Dave5150:
LOL... Paul (and Billy) would kill me.
Rumors are verboten.
I would like to stay in whatever nanospeck of good graces I may have left, with them.
I have not seen *anything*! :)

Seriously, I've been so buried in work that I haven't even hunted for info. for like a week!
I'm lucky to have 10 minutes to check a couple bookmarks and that's it.

General FYI: Rocklahoma is announcing it's lineup next week, so I have my eye on that. There was that prank from 2006?, regarding Mr. Big re-forming at Rocklahoma at the request of a promoter, so, it gets special attention, fest-wise. Will the prank be made real? Will things come full circle? We'll find out!

I saw a rumor yesterday! Hunt it down.
There's a flyer available, and like Musicians Institute - it can see in to the future... it appears to know many of the songs the band will play.

Tour dates for Europe in June have been posted on their official website.

The Euro tour appears to start in Stuttgart, and end in Milan (Gods of Metal).
June 8 is not Sweden Rock - it's actually at Tavastia (Helsinki)!
Hopefully there are a lot more dates to be posted. There are a lot of multiple day off/blank spaces right now.

I can't copy-paste because they have it locked in a Flash Player. Makes it hard to blog, but not impossible... :)

The European leg starts in Bratislava on May 26th. Then there are Budapest(27th) , Vienna (29th) and Munich (30th) before Stuttgart.

They have 23 dats between Taipei and Bratislava so fingers crossed for more then, maybe? Though they may want a mini-break! :P

They're coming to Manila. Anyone know who I should talk to so I can get backstage or something? I should get premium access for being a long-time board member!! I think. Or maybe at least meet Paul

Are you a long time member on the Mr. Big board or just Racer X? :P

Meet and greet only seem to be available in Japan so making friends with the bouncers could be a good idea.
I've got a friend and she gets backstage at everything... but I don't know if you're willing to go to the same lengths she goes to in order to get backstage... or do the things she does when she gets there! :/

Hah. I knew I'd be wrong about the tour start. I was hoping that my wrong-ness would give you guys a laugh... a little mirth! It turns out that the first Euro showdate now is in MADRID. New dates were added to the website today.
I finally got all of the current stuff blogged thanks to dave5150 doing the JPEG/OCR/copy-paste move. *very grateful* Thank you! :)

There are 2 important deletions. M3 Fest in Columbia MD, and also Budokan. I hope those are site errors / editing issues, and not actual show deletions! We'll find out though.
