Paul's a movie star now too?!

Teaser video (trailer): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q86TT0Y8j10
Write-up: http://www.bravewords.com/news/151176

--- ---
Synopsis:
"Guard House Pictures has announced the trailer release of Cry Baby: The Pedal That Rocks The World, a definitive documentary that tells the story of the #1-selling effects pedal of all time, from its invention in 1966 through its evolution into the present day."
"Learn how a simple effect became one of the most important tools of expression for guitarists everywhere. Full film coming in February 2011.
Featuring: Eddie Van Halen, Jerry Cantrell, Slash, Buddy Guy, Kirk Hammett, Zakk Wylde, Dweezil Zappa, Eddie Kramer, Paul Gilbert, Bob Bradshaw, Brad Plunkett, Wah Wah Watson, Jim Dunlop, Jimmy Dunlop, Jasmin Powell, and many more."
--- ---

It sounds interesting, and if it has a screaming soundtrack, it is definitely 'see at the theater' material!

(please move to Guitarist forum if this is not applicable to all fans of Paul...)

LOL that's so cool!

...although I don't think Paul should be on the list... come on, he doesn't even have the Wah on his current pedalboard (or does he?)

now...KIRK... OH MY GOD!!! If there was any doubt he was gonna stop using it someday, this movie will make him stick with it forever!!!

But he used it quite a bit with Mr Big. Besides, Hendrix doesn't have one either and he's still on the list ;)

I can remember like 1 (one!) solo with wah on Mr. Big records (that would be "Trapped In Toyland") annnd... that's pretty much it :D I don't think he used it on any of the newer Racer X records? Besides that I think it only appeared on one of the Fuzz Universe songs?

He does the 'wah wah' scratching impression pretty well tho!

Yeah, he used it here and there, but nothing like "OMG this guy can use the Wha!"

Now, Hendrix did use it a LOT!

That's for sure. Firewood has to be one of the best uses of Wah I've ever heard, and it's not all over a solo either.

I thought it was a wah for sure on that second 'solo' of fuzz universe.

That sounds like a phaser to me but I see how it could be mistaken as a wah

And 'Poundcake' is like the only song EVH has ever recorded with a wah to my knowledge
