Jeff had been saying for a while, that he'd have an update on his website. Oct. 10 this year, it was promised. Surprise surprise, the update is here, a day early! *happy*

Check his site out, because it's very amusing - a must-see.
And the FAQ had better teach you to play drums, because it's so super detailed!

Here's a quick and very PG-related link for the pressed-for-time, or lazy, or both. :)

(thread started because I can't find my old one. Or maybe my old one was about his YouTube channel. I forget.)

That is indeed amazing news.

What sucks, though, is that they seem to completely FORGET about Southamerica

I don't think that any given band at this level "forgets" about an entire continent... it comes down to business.

What's probably happening is that their management does not have a good, strong agency contact in S. America to book gigs or tours at the level they are used to being booked at. Maybe there's a lack of S. American (or Australian, or NORTH American, their home - the "other" "forgotten" places) promoters who are willing to work with the certain details - like payment, or flights/visas/travel, or certain types of sound equipment needed at the venues, or security/catering/lodging. Therefore, no go.

If you can find a great agency that can work with Paul's management to book solid tours like (I could be wrong about this name) - First Contact in Europe, hook them up! That would be so awesome. You could be rewarded with a heck of a tour!

AFTER I posted, I found a gem on Jeff's new site, and put it on my blog, so... definitely, look around! :)

I'm looking forward to hearing his solo album.
How can guitar work from Gilbert/Kotzen/Howe be a bad thing??

Jenn,

Everytime Paul comes here he sells out. In Chile, he played for 1,200 people last time!

We are always screwed because of geography. Southamerica is far, and every country is far away from the other, so it is much more "strategically efficient" to go to Europe.

Anyway, hope he comes soon here, or that he makes some NAMM show to see him!
