Updates:

The release date has been pushed back to September 22 now.

(Seems like the label jumped the gun on putting the product availability out 'in the wild'. Originally this was supposed to be out in June, and EricF speculated that the bonus tracks were older/pre-recorded from the original sessions, so it was not stressful to Paul... so there would be no need to push the release back on account of Paul's schedule, or whatnot.)

The bonus tracks have not been disclosed yet. Maybe soon. :)

The circumstance of the re-release is to celebrate and honor the fact that Paul has sold 3 million albums with his solo career and with Mr. Big. That's amazing!

Patiently we wait... :)

It would be nice if we got some of the single B-sides like Red Rooster etc.
There must be some never released songs as well such as Not Afraid Of the Police which wasn't finished in time to go on Burning Organ so went on Paul the Young Dude.
Actually, thinking about PTYD, it also had a demo version of Girls Who Can Read Your Mind. Some demo versions of songs would be cool.

Well, now this re-release frenzy has been expanded to include Paul's first 3 with Racer X, on a different label. King Records will put those 3 re-releases out in Japan. There's a thread about it in the Racer X folder so please check that out!

Link to that thread:

The secret is revealed! Here are the bonus tracks for each of the PG solo albums which will be released tomorrow in Japan.
This is a substantial offering of new-to-us bonus tracks. Very nice!
Unfortunately the label did not release this information with advance notice, so it's not going to help sell the album on the release date. sigh. Whoever bought it on presale, bought it on pure speculation / sight unseen. Some of these bonus tracks are awesome!

15. Masa Ito Theme #2
16. Keep On Keepin' On - Demo Version
17. I Am Satan - Demo Version

Oh wow, that is a lot of "new" bonus tracks.

And a studio version of Metal Dog perhaps? Awesome!

That's a good selection!
I was hoping for Red Rooster and the Spanish version of I'm Just in Love but can't have everything! :P

The demo versions are the versions Paul does roughly in his studio before getting Pat/Marco/Jeff in to record the drums etc.
I've heard the Rosalinda Told Me demo before and from what I remember it was pretty similar to the album version but with a different solo (like the Girls Who Can Read Your Mind demo from Paul the Young Dude which also has a piano/guitar intro).
I remember him saying in an interview how on 1 or 2 album songs his demo drum track is still there (including I'm Just in Love, think?)
