Post JUDAS PRIEST Taking A Break From Touring
A twitter find:

http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... mID=139323

"JUDAS PRIEST are taking a break from touring this year — they need time to recharge their batteries having just recently finished a two year world tour in Japan at the end of 2009. They will, of course, be promoting the release of 'British Steel - 30th Anniversary' which is due out in May 2010.

"Watch out for the PRIEST machine, which will be rolling out again touring the world in 2011 and 2012! The band will be back at a venue near you pounding out their special brand of classic metal as ferociously as ever!"

- from their management team

What's Juan / Mars Volta up to these days? I know he's not in Judas Priest. It was just a thought.

I like your thinking.

I knew this would be entertaining.
*gets soda and popcorn*

It's actually anti-news: a band declares they will do nothing for a year. It's entertaining, regardless.

We're missing Acid Wire. Someone please summon him? It has failed to summon EricF... it was posted with him in mind, LOL. Weird! I hope EricF's OK... and just running around with his g/f before college and enjoying life. *crosses fingers*

Guys, all it says is that Judas Priest is on touring hiatus this year.
I admonish you because in the past, I have made the same 'leap of faith error' that some of you are making, and I took a ton of flack, mostly from EricF, for it.
As it has been said to me, I say to you. Thou shalt not speculate (when editing is disabled). Take it to MSN / PM / whatever, or turn the editing back on... :)

I tossed in the thought about Juan, because last week (as I was writing) I was thinking "if this question is good enough for Juan, it will be good enough for Billy (Sheehan)". It was a way of making sure I was writing good questions. I was reminded twice in 2 weeks of Juan - it's no big deal, and not really connected, although humorous!

It's cool that Halford's going back out on the road too - thanks for adding that tidbit, Ruth. *appreciated*

Here's something from Priest's 2009 tour: filmed at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa. I haven't watched it, but thought I'd toss it in to liven up the thread a bit. :)

I'm not getting exited over this.

NAMM 2009 was a better reason to get a boner, yet nothing happened. Priest is just tired, period.
