Hey James, thanks man!

I actually thought Paul wasn't ok with you uploading the other pics.

It's good to know that Paul is having new pics taken. It's gotta mean there's new music coming!

Thanks Jenn for taking the role on uploading those images for us!

BTW, what's that natural finish guitar Paul is playing on the US booklet?

...and who's Daniel Gilbert?

Daniel Gilbert is Three D's!

not sure what that natural guitar is, somebody here does I'm sure, it looks like an old Artist of some sort back in the day of brass nuts ;)
those were great!

I'll ask Paul anyway.

those were the initial layouts I'd submitted to Paul and Freddie before they made change requests.

thanks guys,

J

thanks for posting those Daniel!

i should clarify, the GITAR cover was done during the 'silence before' session. it was just Paul and myself as we tried to go for a more candid, documentary-style feel. I just brought a bag of clothes as we are the same height and we did the whole shoot at a parking garage and a public storage facility. we always have gone for low-key production to try to capture a bit more of that 'real' feel. i think its cool that Paul is amenable to that style.
we have also done some more goofy stuff back in the alligator farm days too! I am particularly proud of the RAW BLUES POWER album with Jimi Kidd, I felt that turned out pretty well.

thx guys!

J

It looks like it might be a Late 70's MC seires guitar. Maybe an MC300

Thanks for sharing the pics James. We really appreciate it.

Wow... learn somethin' every day.

That Gitar Plus cover is FANTASTIC... I had no idea that James took the pic - I sent it to Paul ages ago for his hair evolution / magazine covers page on his site. :)

+

Dan Gilbert posts here?! Freakin' amazing. It's a M.I invasion. :)

OK -- to business: Here are some of James Chiang's "new, old PG" photos. They were e-mailed to me. Originally I thought I could copy the link locations from my e-mail, but that didn't work: it was trying to put in links to the message! So I downloaded and hosted them instead.

To the pics. Here are some of the outtakes from Paul's SFBADR sessions.

The white one with 3 humbuckers was given to James; we've hashed that out here already. :)

Posted with their blessings... I hope.

Enjoy!

James, don't tell me Paul gave you that black Iceman/Destroyer hybrid!

That guitar's the sexiest thing!

By looking at the old catalog & the layout of the guitar, it looks like a MC200NT.

We already solved the mystery. Go49rs110 already pointed out it is a MC200. The 300 on ebay has a few extra switches the 200 doesn't have.

hows the neck/quality on those mc200's? I've never played one but they look very very cool.
