On Raw Blues Power, what guitar is on the left and on the right, Paul or Jimi? All the songs have the same left-right order?

I think left side is Jimmy and right side is Paul. Listening to Raw Blues Power you can appreciate it and on Girls Watching slide guitar is Jimmy´s. (Jimmy´s really good!). I´d like to see Paul playing slide too; I can´t remember at this moment if there´s any Paul´s song played with slide.
I should listen to the whole CD but I´think it´s the same order to all songs. It´s a "simple" recording as blues must be: Two guitars, drums, bass, voices and some overdub. I love it!
Also, in my opinion panning guitars is one of the most greats improvements in the rock music

... and this is a so underated CD!

:)

It´s a really good record, and it shows the ability Paul has to play in almost any style you ask him.

The chemistry with Jimi is insane, and some wacked licks can be found.

Plus, Motorman does his appearance in the CD as well, and it kicks ass.

Thank you! Awesome music in this album, catchy riffs and the pure Laney tone that I just love.

Where?

In the song "Freedom" he sings the backing vocals and does percussion duties.

I dont have the booklet here (since Im not at home), but as far as I remember he´s there, and in 1 other tune, playing drums (I guess "The Ballad Of The Last Lions", whose video is featured on the 11,000 notes DVD).

Hopefully my memory is working :P

Is there a footage of that entire concert?
Is there a full concert in video of any of Paul's solo tours?

There should be.

In the 11,000 notes DVD there are loads of songs from that tour, that was the one used for the "Beehive Live" CD, supporting the "King Of Clubs" release.

I don´t know if there´s a full tape of that particular tour, but of the tours that came after there are a lot of full shows around the net. No one of them released officially, BTW.

rather than make a new thread, thought i'd use this one...has Paul ever mentioned if he'd do another album with Jimmy?

I love that album and it would be great if they did another one at some point.

I don't know if he has mentioned it, but his relationship with Jimi is family, so it wouldn't be strange if they actually do RAW BLUES POWER THE REVENGE.

It would kick ass!

Come on, every time Paul talks about bending he mentions his uncle Jimi the Kidd who has the best vibrato ever :D

It certainly would! I think they work really well together and I most certainly would love another cd from them. 8)

From Paul's FAQ

Q: Will you do a new CD with MR. BIG, Racer X, Freddie Nelson, Jimi Kidd, Mike Portnoy, or Linus of Hollywood? Will you do a new solo CD with vocals? Will you do a new instrumental CD? And WHEN?

A: I have had the pleasure and honor of playing in some great bands, and doing projects with fantastic musicians. What will I do next? Unless AC/DC asks me to be their drummer, it will be "all of the above" in whatever order works legistically and keeps me the most inspired. Thank you for allowing me to pursue the music that I love.

Well, Jimi lives in Chicago, so I guess they don't see eachother very often at all.

I guess Paul updated the FAQ then, that's cool!

LOL that is an *awesome* answer to about 35,227 e-mails he must get per week. He should grab Billy Sheehan's answer about "when are you going to play in my country/city/on my continent" as well... it would probably cut down on the # e-mails he gets by 50%.
