That's better 8) . I'm tired of Paul interviews. By the way Ken, look at the last question: Scott loves to be a rock star!

I still wonder why the hell he doesn't wanna shake his fans hands. :?

Cool! :D

Why the strange camera angle? Is Scott's face not long enough anyway?

F-in cool:

Quote:
Q: Still on the subject of favorites, do you have a favorite person that you've played with?
A: I'd say Paul Gilbert's probably my favorite. He's a special guy in and of himself, not just for the guitar. The cool thing about Paul is not just that he's a scary guitar player, but that we're close to the same age, and we grew up listening to the same music. Y'know, the UFOs, the Van Halens, the Rush, all of those. He, like myself, would learn all those songs, too. So, when we got together back in '86 or '87, we'd start jamming, and he would know everything! You can't stump Paul. You'd start playing a tune, and he'd say, "Yeah, I think I know how to play that," and he'd start playing. He knows a little bit of everything, if not the whole tune. Paul's a blast to play with.

By that he means; being able to turn more people into Priest, and have bigger shows and such, not the Axl rockstar.

Nice interview, it's not often you get to read one with Scott Travis (or maybe i didn't do enough search). Anyways, thanks for sharing, Acid Wire ;).

This quote is great:

I think you should just play and have a good time, as long as you get off doing what you want to do. If you have to play 1000 miles an hour, that's cool, and if you just want to be Charlie Watts, that's cool too. Who can condemn one guy one guy versus another, when one guy's still in his mother's attic playing at the speed of light compared to Charlie Watts or some other drummer that just holds it down? Like Phil Rudd from AC/DC, who has toured the world so many times, compared to some of those speed freaks that no one will ever hear from again.
