Post Underlying scarified ryhtm
I've been away from here for way too long, been doin some important crap but anyway, down to the point.

I'm sure I'm not the only who noticed this, it's just that I've basically had the song on repeat for like 4 years straight and only now do I notice the dynamics in scotts bass drumming in the intro and main rythm riff.

what you most likely hear is the straight 16ths and a triplet and an eighth note before the end, resembling this:

Code:
            .3.
oooo|oooo|ooooo|o o

but listen to the subtle difference in the tone of the bass drums, particularily for a dynamic ryhtm resembling this, the same (or similar) basic pattern for the rythm underneath the solo and in all of the single bass drum parts:

Code:
>    >  >  >.3.
oooo|oooo|ooooo|o o

the reason I brought it up is because in every tab I have seen, even on "popular" drumming sites and magazines show it as flat dynamics, even though it clearly is not. this seems to add a whole new dimension to the song, almost a whole new way to listen to it

usually professional drummers (and other musicians i spose) add dynamics as a way of spicing up the music without intruding on the lead-work or of thickening the sound without adding more clumsy sounding tracks to the mix,I've never noticed scotts amazing ability to do so and I'm currently scanning my entire racer X / post 90s priest collection for little things I must have missed

P.S. have my babies scott

I have a friend named Samantha, if I managed to bring her to the forum and asked for it, it will happen?
