Post Snowball of doom
Hey guys,

I finally recieved my copy of The live Racer X show played at the whisky. It's a classic and I'm happy i have myself a copy, and the show is of a fantastic standerd. However one thing unsetteled me.
What dose Paul take the bass solo at the end and not john? Just curious.
Thanks

Sam

I guess Paul takes it because he's the solo frontman of the band. John solos in Scarified, so I guess Paul wanted to do something different. The bass going thru the distorted amp sounds really gritty, so Paul probably just used it for effect.

I was serious. I knew there was a DVD out for the show. Just didn't know where to find it. Groove Entertainment has them for $44. I'll pass on the DVD.

I can sell it to you for U$37.5, shipping included.
Let me know.

As for the bass solo, I´d like if it would be played by John, but after talking to Scott, I know why Paul played it....but my mouth must remain shut

Must correct myself then.

Judging on what Scott told me (we didn´t talked of that specific solo), I can SUPPOSE (or guess) why Paul played it.

Yup, that´s it....

Sounds good. I'll let you know if I'm still interested in the future. Gotta pay off the credit cards first. But I'll let you know, man. Thanks for the offer.

I'd love to have been there in the 80's shows. I managed to get a video and DVD off e-bay of two gigs they did in the 80's. The sound quality does suck a bit because of the old equipment used to record it (being old 80's camcorder, not a nice new digital one) but I still love them and watch them all the time. Kicks ass. I'm yet to get SOD, i've seen it at a mates i just need to buy it.

Guitarp77 is the guy to go to for those kinds of things. I bought a PG DVD from him a year or two ago, so you've got my recommendation.
