Post He sold it !
Came accross that interview

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0efZItqK4H4

Paul talks about his hearing early in the video.
And about him giving his purple Racer X guitar as a gift, about at the 25 minute mark.

Just got a chance to watch this. So that's he's not wearing those headphones anymore ... and I'll admit, never thought of something so elementary as picking the lighter, less compacted wood cut from the top of the tree ......

What Paul says is not entirely accurate according to Chad (who he was talking about) here:

More details of the trade in these two posts:

For casual browsers, this is the guitar in question, a custom Ibanez christened Telesavalas by Paul:

Apparently part of the deal was that Eddie would never sell the guitar on, and would restore it:

Wow that's some memory for forum topics right there!

I came across that interview a while ago and remember him saying that the guy had sold it... but maybe Paul got it wrong.

Anyways, thanks for clarifying guys!

I'd imagine the salient point for Paul was that he had given the guitar to Chad, and Chad no longer has it.

However, I too would be happier in a world where Telesavalas is a playable guitar again, and by Chad's account, it wasn't while he had it.

Unfortunately, Eddie seems no longer to be trading as EKG guitars. The domain name EKGguitars.com is just a domain-sales placeholder with ads. :(
