Post Harry Gschoesser - Interview
This is really a person that I've wanted to interview for a long time. I'm planning on meeting Harry at the NAMM show where will work out the details of an interview.

Like the interview I did with Chris Arvan, I would love your input. So please post up any questions and I will include them!

Rock!

My first question: How in the heck do you pronounce your last name! LOL

Ken, that would be fantastic. I would like some clarification in regard to the "phone sex" legend, if he's willing to share his story. Also, of course, I'd like to know if he had any musical projects after leaving the U.S. for Austria. He's certainly an underrated drummer and held his own very well in Racer X--a band full of terrifying musicians!

Thanks, Ken!

Agreed Ryan. You definitely don't listen to Street Lethal thinking the drummer is lagging in musicianship...hardly.

The phone sex legend...will definitely be asked...as well as what he did musically, after heading back to Austria. Thanks Ryan....Keep 'em coming.

Would he still like to be in a band?/Is he in a band?

Has he still got his drumming chops?

Current musical tastes?

Is he pimpin like mad?

Did he follow the other RX albums and how did he feel about Scott taking his place?

Do you still talk to the band members?

Why did he leave the band, and did he really want to leave the Band?

Would you have re-uion with the band, including Scott and Bruce!

Are you still in touch with Paul, Jeff and John?

Do you have footage of the Racer X with you in it?

How weird, I was listening to Painkiller the other day and wondered whether, had Harry not left the band and Scott never got involved with RX, would Harry have wanted/gone for the Priest gig?
Now I have a kind of chance to find out! :P

Maybe Ken can answer that one straight away but I wanted to know:

Has he met Bruce?

Other questions:
Favorite song on Street Lethal?
What are you most proud of in your own work on Street Lethal?
If he has checked out the other Racer X albums, which one is his favorite?
Is there any good time, funny story, or favorite moment with Racer X he'd like to share that comes to mind?
How did he feel about Racer X during his tenure with the band? Did he think it was going to become big? What does he think of the current "fame status" of Racer X, which is to me a semi-famous band in the shadow of Judas Priest and Mr. Big.

At the time, did he think of Racer X as being just another band to play drums with, or did he feel something special about it?

Post Re: Harry Gschoesser - Interview
I wasn't easy thinking of any questions at first but after a day I have come up with some, hope it's not too much...

Has he ever played any Street Lethal tracks again but in other bands?
Did he like the new Racer X sound after Scott took over?
Did he ever get a chance to play live with Racer X?
Would he remain in Racer X had he stayed in the States?
If he could go back, would he change anything about his drumming style?

Thanks Ken

I saw his name transliterated on a Japanese website and they called him Harry Shuzer. I don't know if that's the correct pronounciation, but it looks pretty close.

How did the interview go and when will it be published?

Met Harry on the Grove show (Megadeth, Leslie West).

Talked a lot with him. Amazing guy. Even got a pic and my Street Lethal album signed by him (badass!)

Will post pics soon. Can´t wait for the interview (even though I asked lots of the questions that are already here, I´ll wait for the official version)

I'd probably ask Harry...

Do you ever listen to the Racer X album for old times sake and maybe after a few drinks get fired up and start playing "air drums"?

Oh, man. I forgot about this thread! Are there any developments on Harry's end?
