Post question on Racer X practice session
I was told that it features Bruce Bouillet and Scott Travis.

But apparently, it ONLY features songs from Street Lethal, which was recorded before Bruce and Scott joined the band.

This makes me wonder: Is this practice session from between the time of Street Lethal and Second Heat?

Are you talking about some DVD? Or an audio download?

Could make sense, as Bruce would most likely spend hours to get the songs down, and so would only practise with Scott to make it perfect in a band context. :) You could email him on Myspace about it, he tends to answer! :D

I'm talking about the Racer X practice session on this very website.

Aha!
(The board has a website?)

I'm just guessing that since Scott & Bruce weren't there when the songs were written, they practiced hard with those before performing them live.
That's what it would seem to me, anyway.
(Maybe done right after Second Heat?)

It's been a long time since this issue has come up, but if I remember correctly those are actually demos from the first record, not a practice session. There is a Racer X practice session audio floating around which has Scit Scat Wah on it and definitely is from the Bruce/Scott era.

The more I listen to songs from Street Lethal on YouTube, the more it sounds to me like the same line-up on the "practice session".
