Did Bruce have two Green Ibanez Epiphones?
I asked a question earlier about Bruce’s Green Ibanez Epiphone and what tremolo was this…

Image

Someone said it was a version of the Kahler Fulcrum Trem.
So that question was answered…

But then someone else said that on the Extreme Volume Live concert in 1988 Bruce smashed his Green Ibanez Epiphones and they didn’t recall seeing that tremolo on it and they were in the front row…

And I always thought that Bruce only had one Green Ibanez Epiphone which was a bolt on [the one with a ''black'' block between the SD mini and the fretboard] which he smashed in 1988…

Image

Ok maybe he could not remember but then I found this picture:

Image

But because it is B&W it does not really confirm the colour..

And then I found these 2 videos…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WClbpRWO ... re=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zInIfndG ... re=related

And this one is definitely Green…and look, there is no ‘’black’’ bit indicating this could be is a set neck similar to Bruce’s Orange Epiphone…

So that makes 2 Green Ibanez Epiphones:
Bolt On:

Set Neck:

I also know this picture exists:

Image

It’s a Bolt On, it has a back cover, it looks like a Kahler Fulcrum Trem is installed. I also read that this picture is from EVL during DRC solo and that was on the first night…if this picture is the one from the first night could Bruce have picked up the set neck Green Ibanez Epiphone and smashed that at the end of Rock It on the second night…or was it the Bolt On???

So which Green Ibanez Epiphone was smashed at the end of Rock It then???

I do not have enough pictures or evidence to say that he did have 2 Green Ibanez Epiphones, he could have painted over the ‘’black’’ bit on the bolt on Green Ibanez Epiphones???

But that Kahler Fulcrum Trem, something does not add up...

I know a lot of people on this site knew Paul and Bruce in the late 80’s and took lesson, some still know them now, some even own the guitars that Paul and Bruce used between 86 and 88,89…
So could someone tell me if I am on to something or did I miss something or am I wasting my time???

Thanks for looking

the wilshire, olympic, coronet, and crestwood all have the same body style just different pickup configurations and features.

the mesurements are

A - 9 6/8"

B - 13 1/2"

C - 13 1/4"

D - 15 7/8"

Body thickness is 1 6/8"

Are you going to make it a Green Telesavalas or actually change the Neck for an Ibanez Neck? :? :?

I'm keeping the epiphone neck on it for now, I might change it for an Ibanez but I have a Pink Epi that I love and the neck feels so good.

Original 1960's Epi's have a Gibson neck pitch.
Ibanez probably fender style and flat, due to bolt on
