I have an 8.5x11 signed color photo of one of my friends from Italy, and Paul... Paul signed it to me, boldly and unhurriedly, in silver paint-marker. It's very cool. It's actually the only autographed item I own, because I don't collect that sort of thing... The pic is from 2008, but it was signed in 2009. It was printed on a regular inkjet printer though so I have it stashed away in the dark, to keep it from fading.

BTW welcome to the board, Lady Killer... have fun, enjoy your stay, don't excessively spam-post except in the Zesty- or Volkan- approved threads, and by all means don't run afoul of anyone important by posting badly-edited pictures of their jewelry!

All I have signed by a member of Racer X is the tough eskimo cd burned and signed by Paul. I have a few things with Pauls signature printed on it like a guitar pick, and the headstock of my PGM700. Those weren't personally signed by him though.

I have some posters and cd booklets signed by a few other bands.

That is an interesting thing  because I bought a Intense Rock II VHS Tape on ebay not even knowing that the booklet had Pauls sig [with those 32th or 64th that he writes] inside the book.
But when I asked the seller if it was real he did not know...

I could upload the pic but since I am new I don't know how to get the pics from my PC to appear on this site... if someone could tell me how I'll try to upload it.

You need to upload it to a photo hosting site like photobucket, or image shack. Then you need to copy the link to the picture.

When you are making a post on the board click on the Img button above the box where you enter the text. It will automatically place " [img]"%20in%20the%20box%20where%20you%20are%20entering%20text.%20Right%20next%20to%20the%20img%20tag%20paste%20the%20link%20to%20your%20photo.%20Then%20press%20the%20Img%20button%20again.%20then%20"[/img]" will automatically be placed after your link.

It would look something like this
Code:
[img]web_addr.com/your_picure.jpg[/img]

To check if it worked you can press Preview next to the submit button if the image shows up in the preview of the post it worked.

If you use photobucket they provide a set of links to your image. One of them already has the img tags around it. So you could just copy and paste that.

I've got a Tough Eskimo signed by Paul, as well,

and a t-shirt I took to the Amazing Journey gig which Paul signed...but not personally....I gave it to a roadie during the intermission, asked him, and he brought it back signed!

The signature looks legit to me. It looks just like Pauls signature (from what I've seen), and he's not really famous enough to make it worthwhile to fake his signature.

Well that raises some hope :)...
But I still can't belive the seller never mentioned that there was a signature
Do you think I should ask Paul? :?:
Maybe he can tell if it is his :|

Now that's just silly. It IT his handwriting. Just compare it to all the Paul Gilbert signatures you can find outver the internet.

Why is that silly? Paul's a decidedly nice guy. He's apparently got the patience of an oyster, too. The worst thing Paul can tell him (if he replies to him at all) is that he doesn't remember signing the booklet, which is like 99.9% likely. Paul signs tons of stuff.

If the seller doofed up and you got an unexpected bonus, that's great, why worry?

That is definitely Paul's signature, unhurried, with art. If he put it on the booklet or if someone else did, is anyone's guess. Take it at face value unless you're in to forensics and handwriting analysis... it's an autograph which adds little commercial value, but tons of sentimental value. Enjoy your signed memorabilia.
