Post Snowball of Doom 2
I was wondering how they recorded this album. It sounds like they just took the audio from the soundboard.

Unlike the previous live CDs, the performances actually have some flaws, which is funny to hear because Racer X hardly ever makes mistakes.

The "woo! woo! weooo!!" during the siren part of Superheroes (which is played up a half step) is pretty funny.

I have yet to listen to the entire thing, but it's an official bootleg, so people expecting the quality of the Whisky show will be a bit disappointed. The quality is bearable though. Just don't expect everything to be perfect in the playing like extreme volume or the Whisky show (listening to the album in library as I type this). Still, it's a cool album to own if you can get your hands on it. It is a whopping 30 bucks of 2 CDs of bootleg material. If you're an avid collector, get it. Otherwise, I don't know if you'd want to spend 30 bucks on bootlegged quality material, when you could be spending it on the Whisky DVD, CD, or the Extreme Volume discs.

The bootlegged quality is very raw, but it's cool to listen to.

And evidently, there's some doo-wop on King of Monsters.

Only one copy left here.

The big mistake for me on SOD2 is Scott`s drumming right in the beggining of King of the Monsters.

The rest of the CD is fine, but Jeff sounded a bit off on the first songs

The inlay of course being the big clue to answering that question. Not present on your download?

Nope. :D

That's why I said, if you don't like soundboard recordings, don't buy it.

Honestly, I would've hated myself if I spent 30 dollars on this. It's going in the recycling bin, cause I need space on my computer.

The downoad doesn't! :P

I quite like ropey soundboard recordings that haven't really been touched up so I was pretty happy when I bought it! 8)

OMG...

Deleting?? You obviously got it for free...Shame on you. :)

The CD was recorded live off the board...it's only a 2 Track recording. Paul loves the glitch in his solo when his string comes off the fret board. Classic.

Jeff's voice is trashed.....it was the 5th night in a ROW! He was bummed they didn't record one of the earlier shows.

There are NO OVERDUBS on this recording....at all.

Caught me red handed. 8)

I think you're talking about the solo in Fire of Rock right Ken? I giggled at that part.

It is a good CD set...but I can't see myself paying over 25 bucks for it. I'm a cheap chinese bastard. :D

So, Jeff wasn't drunk?

For me, he misses when the vocal lines start at some points. I only thought he was having a good time! lol

and oh, why does he say "Tokyo Yokohama" ? Didn`t he remember the place they were playing?
