You gotta be an awesome musician to come up with some of those video game soundtracks, and the kids playin the game hardly even listen for that!

Ron Thal wrote a whole video game soundtrack for an old Sega CD game "Wild Woody". Check out some clips, if you'd like... http://www.ronthal.com

Dude Im not kidding, those games sometimes can have the fuckin most BAD ASS music out there. Dude, Megaman 3 had some RULE ASS TUNEZ dude imagine if like a real band played that! It would be like "THIS ONEZ FOR U FANZ!" and they'd be like "DUDE!".

Seriously though, I heard some song called "Big Blue" off my friends' Super Smash Brothers Melee game and Im like "That song is awesome" and I download the real metal version of it that a real band plays and... dude its awesome. F Zero Remix - Big Blue; thats the shit man.

You gotta be an awesome musician to come up with some of those video game soundtracks, and the kids playin the game hardly even listen for that!

DUDE RYAN!!!!!
AMEN!!!

i've always LOVED video game music. i mean, there is SOO much good stuff on games out there. half of my iPod is taken up by old and new nintendo music. the SSBM soundtrack is killer, and i wish that there were more metal/classical (orchestral) versions done of game music. it's gold.

As a guitarist, I'm rather partial to B.R.O and the title track. The title track wins though, but B.R.O's Bach inspired coolness is nice. My favorite non-instrumental track would be Fire of rock hands down. :D

"God Of The Sun" has always grabbed me the most, I can listen to that song over and over.
