Here's a cool version of Scarified - 1987 version:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=O5nuH4LmiZQ

And a full band cover of Superheroes...

The Scarified one's been removed. Negative publicity maybe? :D

I really like that Superheroes one though. Women seem really suited to singing RX (and related) stuff. Best ever cover of "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" Ive seen was done by a woman.

I dont like to rag on young guitarists.... but for them to get up on stage in front of people and attempt to play a song that is obviously far beyond their skill level, is just plain stupid.

These guys need to go back home and practice for a few more years before trying this kinda stunt again.

Here's your motivation: A group of disrespectful teenage hooligans took one of Paul Gilbert's crowning masterpieces--"Scarified"--butchered it, threw it down a flight of stairs, and drew in permanent marker hundreds of little penises all over it. And if you need any more motivation, you could always just watch the video.

LMFAO , leave them alone, at least they're into Racer X ... would like to ear them play motorman, that would be funnyyyyyyyy :D

well, having lessons would be great, I guess... they're not learning by using a metronome, because it seems they're speeding beyond they're skill....oh well ... xD

They told me they practiced with mets, although I don't know to what extent.

It'd be funny if this topic got into "Killer Post Heaven".

I don't necessarily *want* to see the song butchered!

Gui Rocha is right... at least they are in to the music enough to TRY and play it.

Right now there are just so many more things to think about then being a turd to these kids. Like... the GG shows, and the fact that Scarified will probably be played, very well, very tastefully, and inevitably, by it's creator and his band. AND... the fact that there is a minor typo in the flyer that took me close to 4 hours to make. How aggravating.
