Yeah true, but keep in mind the technology available when Street Lethal and Second Heat were released... They REALLY WERE ALBUMS (vinyl) before CD's came out...X

Very true. But Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son... were released at about the same time and look at the production on those. In fact I still have them both on vinyl. I do understand, however, that R-X couldn't afford that level of production at the time..

Second Heat all the way!! That cd and Joey Tafolla's Out of the Sun totally melted my mind when I was 15 (made me switch to bass as well.)

Long Live the X!!

Yeh it definately was cool hearing paul use different techniques and different solos. Cause now he doesnt use whammy so you got alot of pick harmonics and so forth.

Superheroes really shows the flat out balls that Racer X has...

As for best memories disc?...Street Lethal...I can still remember the look on our lead guitar players face when I came in with the "cassette tape" of S/L...After the major bar dump at the end of Frenzy, he was laying on the floor quivving and drueling...I knew from that point on that it was my job to spread the Racer X word...Oh yeah...The other side of that TDK-90 tape was Edge of Insanity from MacAlpine...I must have wore out 5 tapes and several pair of headphones with that combo...

Of course, ask me in mid December, and I'm sure I'll have a NEW answer...

CAN'T WAIT!!!!
