Haha I love the way she's actually way better than most "shredders" I've ever heard in my life when she's that age.

Lucky bitch.

uhm... whassup?

The link in the first posting in that thread there is dead...

(did a search and found a couple of references to her but nothing related to Scarified... not sure what the asshole comment could have been... have I overstayed my welcome???)

(Some random troughts: Is this a male-only board? Why do females get called all sorts of "nasty" names here? Do some of you think that that is cool or funny? I'm not a female but I most certainly do NOT think that it is cool or funny... If I were a female, I sure wouldn't feel welcome here...)

If you're referring to me...my "lucky bitch" thing wasn't an offensive comment at all. If it was a guy, I may have wrote "lucky bastard". Who knows?

I totally fucking respect her for actually being capable of what she is. I would do regardless of what sex, age or anything like that.

You haven't been here long enough... normally if someone posts a thread that has already discussed there would be a post somewhere along the lines of:

Maybe use the search button next time...

So I was just joking... don't be so quick to take offense man. The link on that thread linked to the Curt Mitchell board that had an mp3 of Chealsea playing Scarified. I didn't know it was dead. But who we're you talking about with this comment:

I know I didn't say anything...

Just cool down man, we all think she's awesome.

Glad to hear that...

Sorry... After reading all the comments in the "female guitarists" section and then reading the comments in the thread you referred to, I kind of got the feeling I ended up in a mens locker room somewhere and there was going to be some kind of "guarantee" that no female was going to read it...

shrug...

Just not what I'm used to I guess...

she is definately impressive but everything i see her play is a cover.
i'd really like to hear her own songs.
but nonetheless, the fact that she can play what she plays note-for-note is definately impressive and takes a lot of work. bravo!

Very nice cover of Scarified. Very impressive. It would be nice if her Myspace page creditted Racer X however. I'm sure at least one person has made the false assumption that it was an original composition.

+1

And I don't know. It's not that I don't believe she can play it, but I'd much rather see a video of her playing Scarified then just a recording. We all know what bands can do with their studio work *cough Dragonforce cough*. There's no doubt of the talent she has, but it's one thing to play Scarified in a studio while sitting down. It's a completely different thing to play it standing up live in front of a crowd.

This is beyond any rendition I´ve ever heard.
She has got it down.

Respect.
