Post Do You Consider "The Jam" To Be A Racer X Song?
I've never seen much discussion of this tune. Considering it features 4 out of 5 of the members of Racer X, does anyone else think it is essentially a Racer X tune? If so, how does it measure up to other Racer X instrumentals?

Discuss ...

I would say the same as MUTTLEY... The whole tune is too laid back to compete with the other extravagant instrumentals...

It doesn't really compare to other Racer X instrumentals because it's just an improvised blues jam. The RX instrumentals - Scit Scat Wah, Scarrified, Viking Kong + all the rest all have much more structure and less scope for improvisation.

Its not half as good as RacerX instrumental's but it is extremely good for Improvisation. I just look at it as a bonus showing off. Paul always chucks bits and pieces on the end of CD's
