question for the surg, (a bit off topic!)
Quote:
As for how many Racer X shows I saw in the 80's ... I'd guess between 10 and 15[/img]

i always wondered (and you may know as you saw them many times) what guitars Paul and Bruce played when and in what order, ie first gigs what guitar? last gigs what guitars? (ibanez !)
did he start the band playing the epiphone, then move to BC RICH or what?
always wondered when mine was used and where it came in the Racer X guitar timeline...
:?:

Others may have more detailed knowledge, but I'll tell you what I can remember. It wasn't a linear progression from one guitar to the next as Paul seemed to like to mix it up. But the BC Rich and the epiphone were the most commonly used in the early (pre-Second Heat) days. Once Paul got his endorsement deal with Ibanez he was pretty much playing Ibanez exclusively. The epiphone copy Ibanez most commonly, and also the Iceman/Destroyer hybrid. Later he favored the pink "Telesavalas" which would be seen in his first instructional video.

Dude from what I can remember the BC Rich came first (pre Bruce days), then the Epi (right around the time Bruce joined), and ultimately the Ibanez deal...

Actually, the Epi came first, then the BC Rich, then the Ibanez.

uhu....

can someone tell why do I have to wait for one hour to download it, since I didn´t download anything from the site today?

"You have reached the download-limit for free-users. Want to download more?
Get your own Premium-account now! Instant download-access! (Or wait 31 minutes)"

this happened to the last show that Surg uploaded here, and I couldn´t get any song!

now it says that I´m already downloading something(while I´m not)...it says that it´s something with my IP....that someone may have the same IP...

I guess I´ll ask someone to download it for me!

Paul didn't do his solo because the set got cut short.

I don't know the date of this show. They were opening for King Kobra, if that helps.

Haha imagine having Racer-X opening for you... especially if you were a guitarist... or bassist... or drummer... or singer... Keyboard players are safe I guess...

Thanks for uploading these by the way! Always muchly appreciated! ^____^
