I'm sorry, but those two bands (Atreyu, Trivium) do not deserve to be even mentioned in the same breath as a band as good as Opeth.

I didn't say a word about those guys....they could be using wood sticks and rubber bands for all I know.

I think what Scott brings is superior feel to the music. Its distinctive. To me a lot of the uber-chops guys are interchangable with little difference in how they sound. They're all impressive but Scott has that intangable "it". A great feel. I read an interview where Scott said he's kinda like Phill Rudd with double bass. I'd agree with that. Scott flat out rocks.
