Post scott travis!
I have listen to the most of this man's songs. The fight stuff, the Priest Stuff and almost everything with Racer X, And I have to say that this man is incredible, a drumgod in my opinion.. On every album he has a different style than the other.. Just listen to Racer x and compare that with Fight. Racer X is progressive hardrock/metal and Fight is trash metal. And In priest is just typical heavy Metal..... So I really love this man..

Which is your favorite drumpart with this man? For exampel, Painkiller, machine man, scarified, she wants control, vicious, and much more... Maybe it is in a song,, Jugulator??
Favorite drumalbum with him? For exampel you love the painkiller album, but you like the drumming on the jugulator album,

So let's talk about everything that is about Scott Travis (the DrumGod) in this Topic. talk about his record with all these bands, favorite drumparts, favorite drumkit, send pics of him, and anything that belongs to Travis.

I'll leave this post here for now.....

Headman....My favorite Travis drum piece...is Evil Joe. I just love his melodic beat during the verses, turns into crazy foot work in the chorus.

Scott is great.

I like that he can fit in almost every style, and everything he does sounds just perfect for the song.

Plus, an extremelly nice guy!

You guys have to be VERY CAREFUL about heaping praise on fast feet...because many of them nowadays do it with double pedal heads with triggers so the sound isn't muddy.

Scott has never used double headed pedals. Each hit you hear, is one foot press.

Double headed pedals suck. I prefer normal twin pedals.

That's what they do. 2 pedals...4 heads....and you think they've got smokin' fast feet.

Dude, I hear what yer sayin' but Lombardo and Mangini are both old school drummers with single beaters on each kick...

Ah okay, i assumed they only used one double headed pedal. Someone's beaten me to it... /o\

And even then they're pwn3d by poeple like Bozzio, Lombardo, Weckl. It's one thing to play different time signatures with 3 limbs and do a snare roll with the 4th.

I'm sorry, but those two bands (Atreyu, Trivium) do not deserve to be even mentioned in the same breath as a band as good as Opeth.
