Ok...Here's the word from John.....


What makes it so hard is playing it in the lowest octave and doing those stretches. This dude should try it starting at the first fret, where it's supposed to be played.

Hate to be pedantic, but wouldn't it be at the second fret, since It's in F but the guitars were all tuned in Eb?

The point is...he's playing it in the video an octave higher...It would depend on the tuning, whether John is starting on the 1st or 2nd fret. It's certainly not the 10th fret or whatever in this video.

imagine if someone tried to play it on a six stringed bass, and tried to do the end string skips..
