Choose your destiny :P

Anyway, I pick Mad at the World. Though Eric Martin has a very melodic voice, Jeff Martin's lyrics really fit the mood of the song and the darkness of it. Better lyrics, better singing :) I LOVE IT!

It's rare for me, but I'm going to go with Racer X over Mr. Big on this one.

Mad at the World no thought about it!
It just ripps , I always found the my kinda woman vocal lines not really fitting the song.

Exactly. You guys have no idea how much Jeff pours his heart out into his lyrics.

Empty Man is so melodic and the lyrics is sooo cool :D It's still one of my fave songs. Another is also Time Before the Sun, that song about God's loneliness before creation is just so awesome

It's not just the lyrics on Empty Man, listen to the emotion he puts into singing it... He's throwin' down from somewhere real deep.... 8)

Time Before the Sun must be one of the best songs anyone from Racer X has done...be it in Racer X or solo or other project.

Jeff really thinks about the songs....he just doesn't toss down crap on to paper.

He's not kidding on the DVD when he says "I get to tell you all my problems.....and I get to tell you all your problems too."

Empty Man and Time Before The Sun are great.....but the saddest Jeff song...for me. Is Bucket Of Rocks.

I had to go with Mad at the World. It was one of the first Racer X songs I heard. I think it's cool that there are two versions of it, but I always revert to my favorite.
