Post PGM 500 and 800 for sale
Hey guys,

I am going to be unloading two of my PGMs. I love my 300 that I converted to a fixed bridge so much that I have not been playing these. The 800 has brand new frets and is going for 1200 with case. The 500 is in pristine condition and will be going for 1000 with case. These will go on eBay this week if nobody gets them here first.

Please only serious inquirys,

Thanks

-Craig

I would be interested in the 800, but I wouldn't be able to come up with the money until I get paid next thursday.

If you are willing to hold it till then, I am interested.

Any chance you are willing to trade either for an excellent condition PGM100 with hardshell case?

Edit: How much did it cost to change to hardtail for your 300? Did you do it yourself? Is it hard to tell it was once a floating trem?

If I hadn't just bought a new daily driver car, I'd be seriously interested in the 500. Of course, if I could sell my USRG30? humm.. --Jason

I had it done for 240.00 locally. It turned out amazing. It plays better than any other guitar and resonates better than all of my other PGMs. It looks like Paul's current guitar. I am not interested in trades since I need to use the money to pay some credit card debt.

I am going to put these on eBay tomorrow afternoon, so if anyone is interested please pm me before tomorrow afternoon. I will most likely have buy it now as an option so they could be gone pretty quick.

Can you post some pictures of the newly fixed bridge 300?? I want to see how seamless it looks. My only concerns are trusting the person I give the job to and that it may be hard for the paint to be matched for the jewel blue PGM100...

It should be possible to match the color pretty close. Without refinishing the body it would be hard to make it seamless. If you look at guitars paul had converted it definately is not seamless.

There is a tutorial on how to do a seamless conversion at http://projectguitar.com/tut/tht1.htm. It has plenty of pictures, but it assumes you are refinishing the body.

It is almost impossible to get a perfect match on the color (Paul's are not perfect either). I will post a couple of pictures tomorrow.

I am having problems getting these images hosted due to the firewall at my office. If you are interested in these guitars please send me an email at [email protected].

Thanks,

I'd love to get my hands on a 500. But I'm in the market for the right R7 or R9 Les Paul too. I think what I probably need more than anything right now is a Financial upgrade! --Jason
